I think this would be class if T20 had not yet been invented, but we have it and it sells itself. Just no need for this. Hardly the star studded lineups we were promised either, there’s some shite in both of these teams.

I was thinking the same thing funnily enough, if all this was new to cricket it would really attract the younger crowd but it already exists.

The new rules make a mockery of the ECB's claim that they're trying to make it easier to follow for non-cricket fans as well.

If people can't understand that there are six balls in an over, they're unlikely to understand that bowlers can bowl single or consecutive sets of five balls in this form of the game either.
