Protest in London

Does my head in mate. The mental health bit is arguably the worst. Mental health is such a serious issue, loads of people struggling with it and sadly taking their own lives. This lot just see it as a buzz word: "eee, if we mention that mental health will suffer maybe they'll be more inclined to help us get this takeover through". It's utterly pathetic. Just be honest. You don't give a fuck if they murder journalists or throw gays off buildings. You couldn't give a shiny shite. You equally couldn't give a fuck about "investment" in the wider North East region. You want to be owned by ridiculously rich fuckers because you want to dream about signing Mbappe and winning trophies. Which is fine, if that's your morally repugnant viewpoint then crack on, but just be honest about it, people aren't f***ing stupid
This might be the most 🎯 I’ve ever read on here, or it might be the huge amounts of alcohol and sun I’ve overdosed in today 👍

"We chop up and dissolve dissident journalists and steal EPL coverage. Can we own one of your clubs, please, EPL?"

It's totally lost on mags that these particular Saudis would be refused permission to take over any club. Including EFL and non-league sides.

They're still banging on about investment in the region, as if they'd somehow support the takeover even if the Saudis were trying to buy us instead. Would have a bit (not much) more respect for them if they just said "we're not really arsed about the human rights record of the Saudis, they're f***ing loaded and we want them here in care we can buy our way to a few trophies". At least they'd be being honest. Constantly going on about investment in the region, and mental health suffering if it doesn't happen, it's pathetic

They don't care one bit about investing in the region. And why are they saying region? It would only be in newcastle. Divs.

Folks from the region travel to London, at their expense, to lobby for investment in the North East and they are mocked.
good job this place was not around during the Jarrow marches 😊

Piss off man you know fine well it's all about being owned by ridiculous rich owners and buying the best players. It's got absolutely fuck all to do with investment in the north east. Please don't make yourself look like a complete idiot

Trying to take the moral high ground whilst lobbying for regional investment from the Saudi state. Quite the position to take

If the Saudi's promised everything about investing the region etc but took over SAFC, would you be pleased? Surely you would because after all, it's the investment in the region that matters and not signing big name players.

Or, how about if they tookover, ran the club like Big Mike does but invested in the region? Would that be acceptable?
