They're still banging on about investment in the region, as if they'd somehow support the takeover even if the Saudis were trying to buy us instead. Would have a bit (not much) more respect for them if they just said "we're not really arsed about the human rights record of the Saudis, they're f***ing loaded and we want them here in care we can buy our way to a few trophies".
