Half way line

Down in London yesterday, walking up to Westminster green could here football chants, turned the corner and there they were about 50 of the unwashed protesting about the take over. All in barcode tops which they’ve probably had on since the pandemic started. Pity Someone hadn’t informed them Parliament wasn’t sitting yesterday 🤪 thick as mince.

52,000 there according to the chronicle with another 20,000 locked outside

Shame parliament wasn’t in yesterday. They could’ve had a right laugh

They're still banging on about investment in the region, as if they'd somehow support the takeover even if the Saudis were trying to buy us instead. Would have a bit (not much) more respect for them if they just said "we're not really arsed about the human rights record of the Saudis, they're f***ing loaded and we want them here in care we can buy our way to a few trophies". At least they'd be being honest. Constantly going on about investment in the region, and mental health suffering if it doesn't happen, it's pathetic

They’ve got previous for shouting at buildings. This could be the first time they’ve shouted at an empty one mind.

It’s been my gripe about this since day one. Just be honest.

Nobody has actually clarified what this supposed investment in the region is. I suspect it is some expensive football pitches and facilities for the exclusive use of millionaire footballers

Does my head in mate. The mental health bit is arguably the worst. Mental health is such a serious issue, loads of people struggling with it and sadly taking their own lives. This lot just see it as a buzz word: "eee, if we mention that mental health will suffer maybe they'll be more inclined to help us get this takeover through". It's utterly pathetic. Just be honest. You don't give a fuck if they murder journalists or throw gays off buildings. You couldn't give a shiny shite. You equally couldn't give a fuck about "investment" in the wider North East region. You want to be owned by ridiculously rich fuckers because you want to dream about signing Mbappe and winning trophies. Which is fine, if that's your morally repugnant viewpoint then crack on, but just be honest about it, people aren't f***ing stupid

Suppose it was a day out in London for them without having to go to Wembley, seen them later in the day heading to covenant garden to take it over, didn’t happen bless them, and to make things worse no greggs nearby to fill their fat faces😂

Yep

Wraith posting pics of disturbed people contemplating jumping in the river to "show what the takeover means" was a classy move

Lots of their own fans gave him pelters for that

Aye, I'm sure there's loads of mags who don't want the takeover, and certainly get embarrassed by the way a section of their support goes on. Almost feel sorry for those ones tbh, being linked by association with that set of absolute knackers
