Deaths aren't the worry now. Current death rate (All causes) is now lower than pre pandemic levels. The maim concern is hospital admissions & NHS being over run.

So deaths are going to fly past 250 because one or two posters made a daft prediction about cases earlier in the year? Pardon my misunderstanding but that doesn't seem very scientific.

The daft predictors have said "its over" and "its got nowhere to run" etc.There cannot be 250 daily deaths if its over and got nowhere to run,unless you disagree with them.

You like to reduce everything to extremely simplistic interpretations. I'm not sure if that's your way of attempting to discredit people or whether it's to make it more digestable for your own comprehension. People saying 'it's over' could mean a whole range of things. I'll pledge to never post again if deaths go above 250.

To be a saint you have to walk the path of the saints and what you do not do may define you more than what you do.

I’m not a Tory voter, but I’m also not completely blinkered in my views. In my opionion, that post is absolute bollocks.
Plenty of working people are better off now than before.
Add to that the new jobs being created at Nissan etc and the North East is actually in a decent place.

Looks like they were wrong, I might be wrong. We'll see in 8 weeks, when everything is open and the schools are back.
