Plenty of deer (roe) in Hamsterley forest.Ticks are in long grass, they can be carried by birds or other small mammals, the dog picked one up walking around Hamsterley Forest. No stags there.

Or suck a fisherman's friend.Only way to cure yourself is to suck off a tramp.
Can I have your camper van if you don’t survive ?Just got out of the shower and thought there was a little scab on the bottom of my leg, pulled it off and the little bugger started walking round my hand. We've been to Arran and did a bit of walking but left on Saturday, I think it's been there since at least Friday. Am I going to die?
Bloodsucking twatface bastard spiders lives matterMmm bloodsucking spiders. Horrible twatfaced bastards.
Hopefully it doesn't come to this mate
THE FLY
Best of luck with thatNot supposed to pull them out, best see a doctor to make sure it’s all removed.
Even then surely he’ll just be told to check it himself and then monitor it?Best of luck with that
That will get pushed to 111 straight away

I’d just get a clean pin and have a dig aboutEven then surely he’ll just be told to check it himself and then monitor it?
That’s what I meant they need removing properly not just pulling off. I did this and the doctor had a good rake around with his scalpel to get the rest out.<<not sure this is true as the longer they’re in the bigger the chance of the bacteria causing infection. remove ASAP is the best idea. Get a tick remover tool and twist it out……
for the OP, only a small amount of ticks carry the bacteria that causes lymes disease
The sister in law had the same last year. That’s exactly what my boy had
I had long pants onits why I never wear shorts when I am out walking
did she have a reaction ? can give awful bites them critters, still got scars from 10 years agoTook my Niece to hospital yesterday for Horsefly bites..awful like.
Went for my second jab today and used it as an opportunity to quiz the nurse. She said that it looked like I'd got everything out but to keep an eye out for any swelling or redness (or flu like symptoms, which I suppose could be a possible reaction to the vaccine?).<<not sure this is true as the longer they’re in the bigger the chance of the bacteria causing infection. remove ASAP is the best idea.
