Had a tick hanging out of my leg..



Not supposed to pull them out, best see a doctor to make sure it’s all removed.

That’s what I meant they need removing properly not just pulling off. I did this and the doctor had a good rake around with his scalpel to get the rest out.

Went for my second jab today and used it as an opportunity to quiz the nurse. She said that it looked like I'd got everything out but to keep an eye out for any swelling or redness (or flu like symptoms, which I suppose could be a possible reaction to the vaccine?).
She also said that it's important to tell the doctor where I'd been as some regions are hot spots for Lyme disease.

She also couldn't believe how I never even flinched when she stuck the needle in, said I was very brave.
