Which Hikes or climbs do you have planned?

It’s a great walk up there. Definitely do it from thirlmere side. If you do striding edge you’re coming across a clif face and you’re climbing all the time. There’s pictures on my Instagram which I posted a link to earlier of the same Route. I can send you the map and stuff if you like. It’s about 20 minutes drive from Windermere

That'd be great if you don't mind like, cheers

I did Cheviot a couple of years ago with my two boys. They're keen to tackle Hedgehope this August when we're up there.

Love seeing the links to The Cheviot earlier in the thread. I used to play on and around the white bridge when I was a kid 40 years ago.

Park here...

Its right at the bottom.

Take this walk...

from the car park the route is signposted and you won’t get lost. It’s a rock path all the way up. Come back down the same way. The machines only take cash and it’s about £3 to park. If it’s hot encou the dog to walk on the grass as they pant like fuck on the hot path. There’s a stream all the way down so you can have a dip if it’s warm.

They both look ideal, thanks a lot lads

Will do mate, praying for abit good weather. Might be doing Skiddaw Sunday but that’s up in the air atm. Exciting as f*** being able to do this stuff again :D
I’m the same. We’ve done a few last few weeks like but no real climbs. Can’t wait to dig in and get some in. Why are you on about not doing skiddaw? It’s a hard climb that like.

Is it Harthope Linn? MIddle of nowhere - be lovely camping there.
Have you visited Linhope Spout too? Via the Breamish Valley on the slopes of Hedgehope, but there will be more people there.
Davison's Linn is also nice too... good walk from there via Windy Gyle

I’ve no idea. Spotted it on a climb up the Cheviot. Gonna camp there in a few weeks time
Also Scafell Pike - in Sept.

Last time we were in the Lakes we did Catbells Ridge.
It’ll be my first time up in a few weeks. Found a class campsite too which I’m booked into..
