Got a link to any walks? I love it up there. Seems like nobody bothers up there so it’s great that you’re on your own for hours.Nah very top of coquet. About a stones throw from scotland
It’s a great walk up there. Definitely do it from thirlmere side. If you do striding edge you’re coming across a clif face and you’re climbing all the time. There’s pictures on my Instagram which I posted a link to earlier of the same Route. I can send you the map and stuff if you like. It’s about 20 minutes drive from Windermere
Park here...That'd be great if you don't mind like, cheers
Staying in Keswick like

Do you know this? I’m gonna wild camping here in a few weeks down the bottom. Have a bit swim.I did Cheviot a couple of years ago with my two boys. They're keen to tackle Hedgehope this August when we're up there.
Love seeing the links to The Cheviot earlier in the thread. I used to play on and around the white bridge when I was a kid 40 years ago.

Helvellyn round from Thirlmere
Lake District Walk: Helvellyn round from Thirlmere, 15.0km (9.3 miles), difficulty rating 4/5. Near to Keswick, Thirlmere.www.walklakes.co.uk
from the car park the route is signposted and you won’t get lost. It’s a rock path all the way up. Come back down the same way. The machines only take cash and it’s about £3 to park. If it’s hot encou the dog to walk on the grass as they pant like fuck on the hot path. There’s a stream all the way down so you can have a dip if it’s warm.
