BollocksI dont think its hyperbole to think we coud have won every game this season
However, the performances are key, results are secondary
great stuff

He might have exaggerated in typical The Prat fashion, but we certainly have competed well in all 4 and with a few minor swings in fortune we could have won each gameBollocks
Not saying we haven't but results are more important than performanceHe might have exaggerated in typical The Prat fashion, but we certainly have competed well in all 4 and with a few minor swings in fortune we could have won each game
Depends how serious you’re taking this placeholder trophy. I think the performance increases after the last few years of, let’s be honest, shit, it’s very encouraging to see us competing with teams like Essex in particular who’ve been at the top of div 1. Puts us in a very good position to certainly push for promotion next season (if we even go back to the old format) or compete in future after a few years of transition. Obviously it’s important to win, but the performances are most encouraging and we can only have confidence of winning this group from here on inNot saying we haven't but results are more important than performance

Let's get beat in games doesn't matter as long as we play wellentitled to your opinion like, i find it's usually wrong mind
Spot on. Also, the equation isn't play to win or play to play well. If you're winning you have to play well somewhere along the line. If you're losing, with a not very good team ..... you have to start to 'play well' and often starting to 'play well' precedes starting to win - and I think that's the point we're at now.The problem with supporting a county cricket side and saying it's all about winning is that when you do start winning then more than likely if you have done it the right way by developing your own players then they move on to play at the next level which is England.
It depends what you want if you just want to see your team win then in cricket terms spend as little as you can get away with on your youth system and spend your money on signing players probably from overseas with British passports.
For me a massive part of watching and supporting Durham is watching local lads get their chance. Probably why for me I enjoyed Durham winning those first two county championships but nothing like the pride I felt in 2013 when they won it with basically a team full of local lads who had come through the Academy system.
