CC :: Durham v Derbyshire

I’ll ask again, define old.

Secondly, seeing how you’ve only posted 53 messages in 3 years, but are now going full turbo - how do you know it’s the same old people?

Your ‘nothing else but stats’ statement is a load of shite too because he’s been fairly economical. I’m assuming folk (like I did) are judging from what they’re seeing on field rather than on the scorebook.
2 or 3 loose balls? Why single him out?
Yeah, ton partnership and 43 off the last 6 overs.
So nowt to do with Coughlin being loose then

Because he was the one bowling at the time I’m assuming.

This. He'd just given away eight runs bowling wide down leg side.

I think he's bowled alright on the whole but he's too similar to the others. Missing Carse's impact bowling.

Should also have picked Trevaskis instead of Poynter.

But out of the other two he’s bowled better you agree? So didn’t deserve the stick? When nobody else has had it
let's just change the subject eh

how's the trial going at glamorgan?
What you on about? I’m a electrician?

Stream is up for Day 2 me lads and lasses.

There’s a live chat function too @Twisted @Poolynorm @tynevalleyblackcat !! Anyone for a mint baileys

someone's come on the chat to say cricket is for idiots.

bit harsh dropping poynter after he's made 50 in the last match like. clearly they feel taking the gloves of eck will help his batting anarl

trevaskis outplayed thomson in the 2nd with both bat and ball though so i agree he should be in the runnings for a spot and i do agree our bowling attack needs more variety. at the risk of upsetting coughlin snr potts has better numbers in the 2nds this year too so i'd have given him the nod for this match.

we really need someone in the middle order though really who can turn their arm over. i'd imagine clark is ahead of trevaskis

Aye they have had stick. Borthwick brought himself on too late and bowled filth. Salisbury has been poor. There you go.

GERRIN!!

Critchley b Rushworth 40.

Either a bit of seam movement or variable bounce to beat the forward push, certainly helped I reckon that Poynter is standing up to Critchley after he charged at a few early on.

Derbyshire 132-4 - 5 overs left tonight, ha’way, let’s have another couple!

Nightwatchman in.

OR nigh****chman for the LMC lads

Not seen Clark bowl. Isnt he another part time leg spinner like Borthwick?

Gerrin Rushy

GET IN

Aitchison b Raine 2.

Shoulders arms to a delivery that jags back from a fifth stump line off the pitch to clip the top of off.

Comms criticising the leave, but in fairness to the batsman, that ball deviated quite a bit and had it not done, would’ve missed the stumps by atleast a foot.

Derbyshire 137-5. 4 overs to go tonight. Still trail by 338.
