Texas numbers continue to fall after reopening

I'm sure they have (although not according to Boris' latest pronouncements - he reckons the fall in cases is entirely due to lockdowns not vaccines).

But since we are ahead of the states in terms of vaccine rollout and Florida, Texas and elsewhere have reopened safely, there's no reason we can't here other than the fact that the government is wedded to its lockdown policy and it's main priority is to make sure that the narrative is that this was the right policy all along.
But he didn't say it was entirely down to lockdown though, did he?

Actually, Texas is still in the mire.

Approaching 50,000 deaths in Texas. 70+ deaths a day.

There are 30 million people in Texas. 70 deaths per day (in proximity to a positive covid test, not "of" covid") is hardly in the mire. More than 200,000 people die in Texas every year. If the criteria for coming out of this is that no one must ever die within 28 days of a positive covid test ), then we are in this forever.

California has more deaths and it's still in lockdown.

I did a lateral flow test on a orange yesterday and it came back positive.

Yawn. No it didn’t. Stop telling lies man.

Not only are you lying about the test, you’re lying about even doing it. Stealing garbage from Facebook.

The depths some people go to for a bit of attention.

that would be like the UK having 155 deaths a day.

I've got some lateral flow tests and I'm happy to go buy an orange to test it just to prove how much shit you're talking

Waste of a test mate. Hulkster, the big bad libertarian, opposed to government spending, is the one wasting state money by using lateral flow kits on oranges.

Well, he claims he is, but he probably just stole it from Facebook.

Don't fall for his nonsense. He's a notorious liar and the laughing stock of the forum.

What sort of help? You think making fun of peoples mental health is funny and acceptable craic?
Being embassasing isn't a mental health condition...we all do it.

Cancelling someone by suggesting they are thoughtless is quite embarrasing, but people do it all the time, not mentioning any names like ;)
TX GOV says we’re close to herd immunity- the data tells a different story

Is this Mr Abbott? He shouldn't have a job, let alone a position.
