CC :: Essex v Durham


I wonder if they have a pre season plan to rotate the seamers in the first section of the championship with so much first class cricket squeezed into the first six weeks. I can definitely see at least one if Potts or Coughlin playing in this game.
Hopefully Young is available and plays probably in place of Jones and because of Eckersley hundred as a specialist batsmen we will continue with two keepers.
 
Young in for Jones a certainty.
Thomson under consideration for this game because I cannot see him playing at the Riverside, in April.
Likely to be a seamer rested for Coughlin.

Tomas Mackintosh the 17yr old keeper was born in Madrid.Obviously with an UK passport but is he the Spanish born to play for Durham ?🤔
