Can’t believe people really that desperate for a drink...

...that they’ll freeze their balls/flaps off by sitting in boozer car parks?

Any of the SMB booked into their nearest pub car park next week?
Yeah me. Going for a few beers.

Not desperate to go out but offered a seat so took it. If I get too cold I'll go home but I won't because I won't be wearing a short skirt.
There’s very little chance of catching anything whilst outside.
And having already had Covid and been vaccinated.

I don’t want to be sat outside though, unless it is really sunny.
Also - are the toilets outside too? Gallons of beer being drunk by lots of people. After an hour or so once they break the seal...
You'll be in the toilets for less time than than you spend in the shops, and with far fewer people.

theres some right fannies about these days like.

'too cold'
'beer garden not beautiful enough'
'not safe from virus'
'too many other people there drinking stella'
'i'm not booking a table'

why not just come out and say it, lockdown is the best thing that ever happened to you, you dont have to beg your lass to go out anymore, you don't have to spend money, you can sit in your pijamas watching netflix, eating takeaway and you dont have to pretend to enjoy socialising with 'mates'. stop making up stupid excuses

guarantee in may it'll be 'i'm not going to the pub, even though they are open inside, as it'll be too busy and too much of a chew on' etc..

all you have to do is put a coat on and keep warm, go and have an hour in a different environment, have a pint, see some people, go home after an hour. its not a f***ing ordeal.

if you dont support the pubs in the coming weeks and months, then you are in no position to complain when they have all gone

I hated the lockdowns, especially the last one (that many people just ignored) when it was cold and dark. Not so bad when it is sunny and you can be out in the garden.

I'll decide when I want to go back to the pub, not anybody else. I'm sure they will be packed for the next few weeks so if they haven't closed already then that's not going to happen. Also got The Euros coming up where our first match is, am I right in saying, the very next day after the restrictions lift? Glad I won't be working in casualty that evening. :)

Tables booked at a couple of places for Friday. I'll wear a coat and sit undercover in a sheltered area, with an outdoor heater. If it's shit we'll probably not stop out all day. It's hardly sitting on shitty patio chairs in an exposed car park. But if people want to do that, let them.

I'll make the most of it hopefully as might not get out again until next month given how many places are fully booked 😂

I’m heading out at 11am.

Got a t shirt, shirt and my big coat, will take gloves as well just in case.

I’d rather go for a pint than get my nails done or go to the gym so that’s what I’m doing.

Can’t say I’m not feeling very excited.

The economy of this country, and it's mental well being, would seem to depend on getting pissed with friends.
You are aware that this is the case across the entire world, right? It's not about getting pissed either, it's about socialising. Though drink is class, as is getting pissed with mates.
I'm not sure about that mind. The piss pots are close together and once I've had 3 pints I'm in more than I'm not!
Toilets are operating one-in-one-out systems or are blocking off every other urinal to allow people to distance. Same as the last time they opened.

Well I can't speak for the rest of the world. I have 'socialised' plenty in the past. I get the need for a change of scenery. Do you think the rules are enforceable?

Probably not this week but planning to get a haircut Wednesday In the day and if it’s quiet when walking back might nip in (Or Out) somewhere for a pint.

If it’s packed or the weathers shite I’ll not bother.

Would I normally sit in a pub garden in the middle of April? Would I f*ck. Swerving pubs til everything is as it should be in June.

If it's still a f*ck on like it was when they shut last November then I'll not be gannin back til i can walk in without signing summat or showing summat and I can gan and sit next to and have a bit crack on with whoever I want.
I’d be interested to see if the second half of that is gone this summer... the last date of the road map should be when that happens, but I’m not so sure at this moment in time.
