Frustrating start to the days play but more than made up for it towards the close. Was thinking yesterday we had turned the corner and better times were ahead, but after the first session today and the loss of early 2nd innings wickets it looked more like a flash in the pan. But my optimism has now returned.

I'd reckon overnight declaration. If Notts can knock those runs off they'd deserve the points, but they won't because we have a good bowling unit - and maybe a dodgy weather forecast.
Probably depends on what the skies look like in the morning. They might be tempted to allow Bedingham a chance of a double hundred. Perhaps get another 30-40 in half an hour to push the lead up behind 425, maybe more of a psychological hurdle for them.
I think the lads will be mindful not to give them a sniff considering we’ve bossed this game for three full days now. They’ve got a great batting lineup, it’s a rapid outfield and the pitch still looks good.

Ah right. I never thought of that. Typical we get a decent score and dont pick up all the points. Were doing well though so it may not matter.
