CC :: Notts v Durham

That, and Bedingham's drop from Hutton are as bad as anything you will see in first class cricket.

They've really let down the bowlers

burnham seems regularly poor in the field though.

he's just one of them who everytime i notice him it's for all the wrong reasons. by all accounts he'd turn up at whitburn and pack his backs and leave when he got out. nothing about him suggests he has the drive to be a top level professional, whilst it's laudable durham sticking by him through his troubles i have little hope it will pay off for us on the field

always struggling if two of your top three have scored six in total in two innings

i said earlier see off the new ball with two down with ball struggling. we need two of them to bat for an hour and a half to settle things down

Incredibly astute cricketing insight here. I have learnt so much from this forum

Notts have gone very defensive with the field early on, we’re 68-3 with a lead of 133, but they’ve got a fair few lads on the rope.

Scored a ton in the warm up didn't he? Really disappointing match. Might consider dropping down the order when Bancroft returns.
Nah, Badger is the 3. Bancroft will open with Lees.

78-4, Burnham edges behind for 18. Lead is 143. Bedingham is 54 from 81 and has looked a different class since ball one. As if he’s batting on a different wicket.
