I want to be optimistic but in reality, when furlough ends , a lot of people are going to find themselves on the dole and won’t be able to afford the match.
 
One of our biggest issues has been no scarcity, people can always get a ticket so they don’t value it. If covid restrictions mean we start with 20k or something then those who can’t get in will be chomping at the bit for tickets when they can get in.
 
if we go up assuming no restrictions, it will be a full house first game then probably settle around 30-35k

Itll be interesting to see how there going to do it if are restrictions
 
we never bothered renewing this season but will be returning next season. I hope it’s 40+ k but can’t see it, there’ll be people still uneasy about mixing and there’ll also be people not going if players are still on their knees before the game

Gerraway man! Are you seriously suggesting people will not be going to the match because of players taking the knee for 5 seconds beforehand?
 
Sell out first few games, pent up demand from the regulars and the now and thens and the once in a blue moons.

Regular after that will depend on a range of factors, new player budget spent, Mags being relegated so in same league, success on the pitch etc. Championship 30K+
 
I think the new owners could do something in regards the unemployed issue, because it will be an issue. Eg something along the lines of the UB40 reductions scheme we use to have.

Yeah. Doesn’t matter if it’s 5 seconds or an hour the damage has been done. Won’t bother me like il just have a pint and come out a bit later. It’ll save me the embarrassment when there’s boos ringing around the sol
