I got mine (AZ) on Thursday too and no side effects at all, just one huge big relief.had the AZ jab on Thursday, no side affects yet in fact never felt better, might be the relief of getting the jab and a step nearer normality.
I think they should be chasing it up.Question for the people on this thread who have had their second jab, are booking in for their second jab or just know how the system works.
Basically my grandparents had the first vaccine, Pfizer I think about 12 weeks ago. The month window will be up on Wednesday and they have not heard anything. Is that the norm?
I'm asking because I have a friend who got vaccinated not too long ago in category 4 I think, who already has a date in April for his second.
My concern is that the guidelines changed one day before my grandparents got their second. It was cancelled the same day, that they have fallen through some cracks.
Are there any consequences of missing the 12 window and should they be chasing? They are mid 80's if that help.
Cheers in advance.
had mine yesterday woke up at 4 this morning shivering but felt red hot got a canny headache this morningHad my first AZ jab last night
Feel rough this morning. Body is aching plus a headache. Feel like I've had 10 pints yesterday
I think they should be chasing it up.
I'm not sure but either the GP or 119 would be where I start. Thanks for the reply, I have asked them to. But my grandad has so much faith in the NHS that he just won't accept there may be a problem. I think I'm going to do it for them.
Is it just your local gp you contact or is there a general helpline? I have found a lot of helpful numbers for people in Scotland. None for England.

I e got to go to the far side of Stockton, half hour in the car.I've got a letter inviting me to have the vaccine, but when I tried to book the jab, the nearest centre I could get it done, is the Nightingale, or York.
I'll phone my docs on Monday, to see if there's anything more local to me.
The Town Hall in H/pool is being used as a vaccination centre, and is just 2 minutes walk from my house.
I could get to the Nightingale, but friends are advising me to do as they did, and phone my docs, to get an appointment in H/pool.I e got to go to the far side of Stockton, half hour in the car.
I am quite literally going to be the last one to post on this thread, aren’t I.
I think most of the SMBers has been done by the looks of things.
Good luck if your docs are anything like ours you’ll never get through.I could get to the Nightingale, but friends are advising me to do as they did, and phone my docs, to get an appointment in H/pool.
