For me currently,
Anderson (Broad comes in for back to back tests to rest Anderson)
Wood (Stone comes in for back to back tests to rest Wood)
Archer
Leach
 


Wood should be first name on the team sheet in those conditions when available, he has done better than Archer when he’s played

I think you have to play Anderson and Broad atleast for the First Test. I’d play Wood and Leach but I know for a fact ‘Team England’ favour Archer’s 82mph dross.
 
Archer doesnt play based on the fact he thinks its acceptable to amble in at 80 mph when he can bowl 95

Hard to see Wood playing 5 tests but he needs to be part of the starting XI for the first test. Probably skip Adelaide as it’s quite benign and look to nurse him through the final three tests.

A firing Archer and Wood is an exciting prospect, Stone needs to be in the mix too with Anderson and Broad alternating.

Leach the spin option.

A lot rests on Stokes being fit to bowl enough as a 5th bowler.
 
It feels like there’s a lot of water to go under the bridge before Australia now, which is a shame when it seemed like we were making progress after Sri Lanka.
 
Stone, Wood, Anderson & Stokes. With Archer rotating in for Stone/Wood and Broad for Anderson if necessary.

Last bowler is a tough call, as you've potentially got a nasty tail if you go Leach, which seems the best for bowling balance. But still think I'd go Leach unless the conditions really dictate Bess/Woakes.
