Had 3 listens of LW now. It’s unmistakably a King Gizzard record, and it’s solid, but I can’t help thinking that it’s 7 songs that weren’t quite good enough for December’s KG album.

The new Nick Cave is very much a continuation of Skeleton Tree and Ghosteen.
New single by one of my fave bands, Slothrust, yesterday. They've done better, based on first couple of listens, but if nothing else, it does include the lyrics, "I want to buy your brain a cake and frost it with the cum of angels" and "I want to pluck your eyebrows for you with my grandma's antique tweezers," so....

I had it on in the car last night and they played it twice in a row on R1. Was quite taken with it second time around and by the third time this morning I do really like it. Quite a curveball. Imagine the second single off the album will be a bit heavier, uptempo.
Camera are so last week
I've not had exposure to them yet but heard they're developing their sound, etc

Also, I’ve been calling him Suff-Jann for as long as I’ve been aware of him. Also from reading the comments on the Facebook post, I’ve also discovered that Bon Iver is pronounced Bon Eever so that’s another one I’ve got wrong. I’m so ashamed - I’ll see you all with a new username in a couple of weeks!
