I agree mate but the way India are playing I’d end up having to pay sky money for winning the betThe weather is fine, there is no way this lasts 4 days never mind 5
I rate Buttler and think he's been very good the last year or so but one thing he'll never match is Foakes' wicket keeping, best I've seen in a long while. If he can bat to a decent standard he should have a place in the side imo. I don't think Buttler is a poor WK by the way but he's not even close to Foakes from what I've seen in this test.He will probably get out now but I have never not been impressed with Foakes. His glove work is superb and he can hold a bat. He would be in every time for me. Butler, Bairstow etc need to earn their place as a batsmen. We seem to indulge the former, obviously a fantastic cricketer but just doesn’t quite fit in the Test team.
In what way? We’ve batted really well? We bowled exceptionally?\hahaha jesus wept man
definite troll you

I'm a big Buttler fan but you must admit Foakes' wicket keeping adds a different dimension to the side. He looks brilliant.Buttler earnt his way in as a batsman, he has been absolutely outstanding over the last year.
people have short memories like on here, not watch cricket this summer marra?
No reason we can’t have both Buttler and foakes in. Especially with such a fragile top order. I think Pope is good enough to bat higher, so him at 3, Crawley and sibley opening and Lawrence and Burns missing out for me. If we’re gonna invest time in someone at the top, it might as well be in the two youngest ones with the most potential for future development, rather than Burns who’s much older and less likely to improve. Also think Jos could play 3 as he’s very clever and able to adapt very well, but he’d have to work at it and we’d have to accept some failures at the start.I rate Buttler and think he's been very good the last year or so but one thing he'll never match is Foakes' wicket keeping, best I've seen in a long while. The toss really shouldn’t have this big of an impact
The two in the side don’t need to be mutually exclusive. Buttlers good enough to be in as a batsman for meI'm a big Buttler fan but you must admit Foakes' wicket keeping adds a different dimension to the side. He looks brilliant.
Buttler wouldn’t have made the should be stumping of Sharma. That’s the difference. Buttlers good, foakes is world classHe is good keepter like, But Buttler has kept brilliantly, not missed a chance, literally faultless
sorry like but Buttler been fantastic the last year, I must have been watching different games or someit
They’ll drop him for Bairstow for the next two testsFoakes taking his chance at the moment. Butler is obviously a selectors favorite, but if Ben can keep this up then it will be hard to drop him.
