Pleased someone said something. I can't even bring myself to point out how backward that thinking is.Seeing as Shared Parental Leave is a thing, they probably shouldn’t employ men either, just to be on the safe side.

Can I ask - what kind of stuff do they do to promote it?

I take it you get the same package as women if you take it? Do you know if it’s popular, and whether take up is good?No probs. They are really big on being family friendly, so they promote flexible working, compressed hours, shared parental etc via the intranet and openly signpost it. We also promote it through our conferences and away days.
"Snip passports or nee work lads."The funniest thing is they wouldn’t employ women “of a certain age” but men can become Dads at any age...so you’d have to rule out men up to retirement age. The workforce will just be made up of post menopausal women.
I blame your employer.I didn't even get that with my first. Self Employed get fuck all.

there is no chance at all of me ever employing women
Nothing would be said by safc.If a SAFC player took a year off because their Lass had the bairn there would be rightly hell on.
He was a money grabbing kernt mind.I blame your employer.
Which other laws, as an employer, do you totally disregard?I’m not so much on about the money.
if I (which I do ) have a squad of 2 lads working together who have got to be together to do a 2 man Job and I’ve got one lad taking half the year off because he can?Causes untold problems and he’s have to go.
Actually, with SPL I think the woman has to be entitled to Mat leave in the first place in order for a bloke to share some of it. So in the case of SAFC most of their wives won’t be working, so won’t get Mat leave they can share with their partners. If a SAFC player took a year off because their Lass had the bairn there would be rightly hell on.
Whichever ones I don’t agree with.no tail wagging the dog here.Which other laws, as an employer, do you totally disregard?

Although he also couldn't claim anything back from the government, despite paying all his taxes.

You'll end up on the losing side of a tribunal. Do you pay SSP, or do you agree with that too?Whichever ones I don’t agree with.no tail wagging the dog here
I paid NI on my paye salary. Not even the daft flat rate version one either.I think it comes out of the employee NI payments.
