I know this may sound like a stupid question but when I play a squad battles match am I playing against someone or is it the AI I am playing against? Played three squad battles games this afternoon (on beginner) and I actually beat each one 12-0, 10-1 and 17-0.

It’s the AI. Semi pro is probably the best starting point as the AI hardly attacks or defends on beginner or amateur

Not too long. Depends how much your club is stocked with common golds. I am gutted as I did Hierro, who is really good but Cannavaro would have been an upgrade. I have zero gold cards in my club currently lol.

If your club is even semi stocked the 81 plus and 80 player pick will get you there quickly.

Could go trading, sniping route. Flip them use the coins to buy golds, into the upgrade packs that are available now.

Or go old school, BPM, Silver upgrade and then 80 pick upgrade.

If it's BPM, you're going to end up competing lots of the shitty league SBCs too. Belgium , Dutch etc. End up getting high cards there too.

All comes down to time.

Nick28t is good for bronze pack explanation. It is a slow and boring grind but it's guaranteed to be profit in long term. I did it lots at the start of the year , got me to the team I have now. No coins spent. I made some mistakes like, chased icon packs with coins.

SBC to glory now me. Total first owner, SBC only cards.

Ea absolutely have some kinda code that links your pack reward to what you have like.
I reckon there's about 160-190 82+ midfield cards.
So thats maybe, conservatively, 150/1. Added to who you have at your club and who you have untradable etc, I'm reckoning its 200+/1 odds me packing a duplicate untradable card from this.

So I get duplicate untradable Sancho that I have to discard.

Keep on scraping gold cards by selling anything and putting into 80 plus pick. Last 3 was Gnabry, Laporte and Hummel's. Mental.

Have zero gold cards now and 2k haha.
8-4 in champs too. Messing with a new team. Played a Safc lad called Connors 11. GG if you're reading.

100% .. the IF Zahavi was a duplicate so I did the 86+ rather than discard

It’s happened on far too many occasions to be random
