Riv's info was largely spot on. The FPP deal was as good as done until some goal post changing by the owners and too much blabbering before it was officially completed that FPP allegedly did not like as it isn't the way elite business operations work. The only people the word 'debacle' could be attached to were the individuals who couldn't see the deal through, rather than an RTG poster.

I think you will find that Prehab, MB on here and Smug over on Not 606 Sunderland [Riv on here once] are not a million miles wide of the mark when this new scenario is ultimately confirmed. You clearly want something categorical but it would be frightening if anyone outside the deal makers came out in the public arena to say exactly what was happening and when it will be announced. That was a big part of the problem last time when we should have expected good news last year.

So sorry mate, we said goodbye to both of ours last year lab was 13 and spaniel was 13.5 grew up together the lab just chucked the towel in when his pal passed he went 2 month later.

Surely as a proper Sunderland fan you agree that the best thing they can do once it’s happened, is to disappear completely from the club, otherwise the place could end up remaining hamstrung through the failure?
Alas, I feel the only way this will happen, is if they cared about the club/supporters, when in reality, they only care about themselves.

i've been following the whole thing closely for months nixon has and still is behind on his info , like a said cant be arsed to go who said what when , as of yesterday nixon says they still hadn't agreed shares but prehab , madbob are saying good chance it will be announced today which if true suggests nixon is behind on his info

The thing is this is the real world. There’s a little bit of a parallel to Brexit here. I’ll bet there are sticking points that we are just going to have to accept and move on for the greater good with Brexit and the takeover.
