Bad news man. Nowt more lovely than a loyal dog. Sounds like we may get some positive football news anyhow for a change. Hope you have a goof Christmas. Out of interest what do you have for breakfast on Christmas morning?

I think you will find that Prehab, MB on here and Smug over on Not 606 Sunderland [Riv on here once] are not a million miles wide of the mark when this new scenario is ultimately confirmed. You clearly want something categorical but it would be frightening if anyone outside the deal makers came out in the public arena to say exactly what was happening and when it will be announced. That was a big part of the problem last time when we should have expected good news last year.

All of the area regeneration and monorail stuff was a load of old shite mind

Source on this? This seems to be stated as fact by some, but I've not seen any reliable evidence that that's what happened.

When at the SOL for the one game they attended (when pictured in the Directors box with CM) they did indeed enquire who owned the land around the stadium (Sheepfolds) and allegedly the City council would have been open to discussing a cheap sale of land they own for development. The club and City Council are very close.

Never heard specifics about a monorail, think that was a joke that started on here? A footbridge certainly was and that’s on plan now in any case with the new riverside development plans.

My beagle howled and howled when his brother died. We brought a little jack russell pup in to help him but then he died a few years later. It’s so bloody hard at the end but the years in between are just priceless. Here’s to dogs. And thanks for sticking ya head above the parapet again for this takeover !
