The cavalry charge would be different in the first ten minutes if it was Aguero or Suarez etc having a couple of one on one chances . Poyet was competing at a much higher level

Even Poyets son was tweeting about him coming here and wasn't sure why it fell through but did claim it wasn't anything to do with money or the fact we were in League One as was claimed

I argued with some he's a better footballer than Asoro when we were in The Championship but I was shouted down by some. I still stand by that now

You know, one thing that has got me thinking about this takeover of late, i am not sure if others have metioned it, but if stew is lowering his shares, what's going on with charlie, is he lowering his or ?

I'm not sure. My gut feel is that both JS and CM have fallen out with SD to an extent, and are happy to freeze him out and work with KLD. Not what people will want to hear about CM, I know, but, from speaking to him last year about football in general, the changes on the football side recently are something he'd be very comfortable with,
 
Goes without saying but the more KLD gets the better. Partly because the others (especially Donald and Methven) have been shit, but also just because the higher his share the more he benefits from us improving, and thus the more he may be prepared to commit to make it happen. I've not been overly excited about this takeover yet, but if KLD is actively trying to maximise his shareholding then I'll be happier that he's got big plans and ambitions. The long term appointment of a sporting director is a genuine positive, but I think we all need a short term boost as well.

So Donald's power is reduced to mostly nothing, with CM sticking around for reasons unknown, and JS and KD, being the big shoulders going forward i can live with that, the devil is in the detail of course but right now in league one, needs must, and as long as the club is run better both on and off the pitch, everyone is happy.

Methven is a very frustrating piece of the safc puzzle tbh. I think Donald is useless. Methven, however, seems to come across as if he knows his stuff. By all accounts the business side of things that he was involved in did quite well. If he'd simply hidden the contempt he has for safc fans and had been able to go without causing a PR disaster at every turn I'd be quite comfortable with him having a role in a new set up. Instead there's too much bad blood between him and the fans now so he'll never be welcomed in any role and people will hope he's the most silent of silent partners before he, hopefully quickly, leaves entirely.

It’s slightly ironic that a supposed PR guru was so useless with his own PR. Unless of course he only ever dealt with the business side and let his staff do all the PR work.
