That's a daft interpretation though, that's what I'm saying, that you're being extreme in your judgement. Equally, Donald won't appoint someone on the promise that KLD will take over, as that passes financial leverage to the buyer and puts Donald on the hook should the takeover break down.

Like I said, working together. That's how things get done. Not one party pulling the strings and the other kow-towing.

Apparently they want their money back and Donald doesn't have it.

EFL bailout cash seemed to be desperately needed a day or two when Rodell confirmed Donald had become very impassioned about it in the efl meeting where he threatened administration.

Of course the loan has absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with the club.

Speakman has also had a considerable promotion. From being in charge of an academy to completely responsible for a club is quite a leap.

I think any assumption that the appointment of Speakman is an indicator of huge change and investment is misplaced

maybe because he's losing £1m every month, and he can't even afford batteries for the clocks, he's paid off the kitman and he's tried to pay academy tradesmen with ride-on lawnmowers. I doubt he'd be volunteering to fork out for managerial pay-off compensation and new staff contracts for replacements.

Wow, what a day its been so far, as for this thread its some of it has been extremely amusing, i have just been reading it back, certain posters still protecting the clubs board no matter the cost, nothing has changed their from years past, shock horror. todays news is very interesting certainly from Gordon Armstrong, And the press.

He appointed Jack Ross, who IMO is a good young coach going places, for example

Is Methven or Rodwell capable of taking Coton, Hill, Reid, Cooke and Parkinson from the payroll and replacing them with Johnson and Speakman ? I would say they are .

Lee Johnson is the exact type of charachter than Donald would get on well with, I don't understand whats so farfetched about him appointing him

Doubled with the fack that Lee Johnson has already said it was Donald :lol:
