This is the C21st these days my Mrs has daily meetings that involve people from as many as 24 different countries at once . They are not business meetings but its the same technology.

I laugh when Storey posts pictures of himself in Sunderland as if in this day age it would necessary for him to actually be in the city to negotiate the purchase of the Club. I should imagine that currently Donald stays well clear of the place and conducts most of the Cub's business from elsewhere

I don’t see anyone supporting him apart from a few daft lads lapping up his shite on Twitter.

However, that tweet is one of the more plausible ones and it wouldn’t surprise anyone if that’s the result of the takeover.

Not saying Storey is telling the truth, I have no way of knowing. Just saying it’s probably the most likely to be true out of all his tweets about us recently.

This. Especially with the COVID situation people have realised that remote working is much more useable than they first thought.

Besides, if KLD can spend some of his student days in Leeds I’m pretty sure he can handle a second home or staying in a hotel somewhere in the North East. A lot of the area is very nice.

I guess the most important thing is that the strategy has changed to a long term one with youth being the focus.

Although it does seem plausible, this is an SD thing with Rodwell still fully on board. I can imagine some kind of plea as to a fresh start, but that doesn't coincide with what KS said about investment, etc.

Maybe they have all agreed it, maybe with a bit more money behind it and less of a personal risk SD supports this model as well.
It will be interesting to see how long we give the long term strategy!

Yea, only time will tell.

I'd be awful nervous of the whole thing crashing down quickly if SD has any say.

It's probably all a bit less dramatic than people on here seem to be saying. I doubt any of the owners are going to be massively involved in running the club day to day. Maybe Methven might have a role of some form.
So they will need to make strategic decisions, but there is probably a fair bit of alignment on a lot of those type of things anyway. It might now be a couple of things go against Donald that wouldn't have before.

They didnt appt rodwell because they werent buying the club then! Speakman has mentioned he hasnt spoken to them yet. Plus where has this new structure suddenly come from if not from new owners. Speakman has also mentioned being really impressed with the plans from the club and having substantial backing, according to everyone on here we are skint under SD so where isbthis backing coming from
