But I think it’s fair to say that while the decisions they’ve made reflect poorly on them, and they’ve clearly bullshitted a great deal, these two aren’t idiots. They both ran highly successful businesses and seem to have fooled a lot of people into thinking they were the best people to own Sunderland AFC.

I wouldn't want this moron near us either way but the fact that Donald and Methven remain is unsettling. It's absolutely clear that Donald wanted a place and that probably scared off FPP not the 'invested in me' bollocks. It's clearly quite the opposite. Hopefully KLD and Sartori have a better plan to operate the club. Early indications look hopeful that lessons have been learned but it still makes me very unsettled that the spend nowt short term profit hunters have a say in our strategy.
