I've tried not to be negative these last few weeks and see how it plays out, but it's looking increasingly like the "absent owners" problem which got us to where we are now being repeated all over again, doesn't it?

Rodwell will be reporting to the new lot though and not CM. If Rodwell doesn’t perform he goes 🤷‍♂️

You do know that CM, Donald and Satori will still own 60% of the club, no matter who comes in?

I am really not sure what the confusion is

It's been reported Rodwell was never going to be replaced.

So I'm not sure why people are complaining he's still here. He won't be affecting anything to do with the squad. He's literally here for the mundane stuff
 
If the position is filled by an able employee, and if that employee is given the backing to implement improvements, and if the management team are on board, and if the company (club) provide the necessary funding AND time to deliver clearly identified results, and if these are consistently adhered to by any potential new owners, it is a good appointment.

That's why they put it out to headhunters for the shortlisting. You know, we might just have incoming owners who recognise they aren't omniscient, and use people who have the knowledge to fill in the gaps.
 
I’m still excited by the appointment and he’s said all the right things but then you see Rodwells name there and it’s just a massive nod to the current ownership that have fucked everything so badly. Makes sense though as Rodwell was highest paid at Scunny and was never going to leave there if there was a chance he was sacked. Blokes made a pigs ear of the job so far though, for the season tickets to the Rick Parry bailout.

Why was rodwell always going to be alongside him?

Hes SDs man, he is working for SD, not the club. If SD is leaving, he wouldn't have a place here, surely?
