We are SAFC but the cynic in me is curious why he's leaving a job for a club in a lower division...

Because maybe he sees the size and thhe potential of the club, add to the fact hes going from a academy director to sporting director

With the person above him having overall responsibility for all aspects on the footballing side.

Yeah definitely. Like I said in an earlier post we lost afew members of staff to other clubs and they were all highly regarded. I’m sure the one of the ones that went to the mags was held in high regards by parents.
