Train,plane,automobile or bus?
Was told Grand Central is cheapest?
Last time I was in UK i hired a motor to come up but worked out almost £500 for a weekend.
Thinkng BA to Ponteland would be better option
 


There’s now a flight into Durham Tees Valley.

Train is the most convenient, but pricey if you don’t book in advance.

Coach is the cheapest but also the longest and usually full of mouth breathers.
 
Someone I know recently bought a London to Peterborough return and a darlo to Newcastle return. Booked their seat through lner website for the whole journey. Once thru the barriers they aren't doing ticket checks at this moment in time due to covid so loads cheaper they said.


Obviously it's against the railway bylaw to do that and you could face a fine. I'd never condone this type of behaviour being a railway worker.

Not in first class it’s not. But ridiculously expensive for the upgrade. Certainly when compared to a first class train ticket to Aberdeen which is a similar journey time and the upgrade price is attractive.

Probs just stop in London then especially if Sunlun in Tier 1, was only coming up for a couple of days have a pint with some of the lads and get a savaloy dip and things.

UK Gov added Bahrain to the Green list a couple of weeks ago,plesse check UK Gov.com chump, no quarantine or self isolation required arriving from a safe country where the entire population has been tested and followed the guidelines
Made a reet arse of yourself there son.
Stay safe in Tier 3 as that is where the morons like you belong.
So no travel tips for getting to Sunlun then.

I'd fly up me like..get on BA.COM and have a look..if you can fly up on a weekday it's much cheaper..then the metro from the airport.
