London to Sunlun

Under normal circumstances, the train is the best option but I’m not sure what it’s like at the moment (and GC have stopped completely at present)

That is miles cheaper than some of the train prices i have seen online, canny.

I mean i'd imagine it'll get more expensive leading up to Xmas but if you book in advance..the prices make it a no brainer for me like..especially when you hop straight onto the metro and away.

Only time I've ever really disliked the train journey up are the Friday afternoon ones that are rammed. Otherwise beats driving for me. The bus would not be an option mind. I'd rather walk.

We've enough morons here already without importing another:

When you arrive in the UK, you must travel directly to the place you are staying and not leave until 14 days have passed since you were last in a non-exempt country, territory or island. This is known as ‘self-isolating’.

Imagine going on like this whilst being so wrong

Your dedication for a saveloy dip is to be commended. i shall have one today in your honour.
Nee mustard mind ;)
Train,plane,automobile or bus?
Was told Grand Central is cheapest?
Last time I was in UK i hired a motor to come up but worked out almost £500 for a weekend.
Thinkng BA to Ponteland would be better option
If you're flying - in from abroad, just stay in Heathrow, and fly up.
Much easier than going into the smoke, and then getting a train up.
Forget about driving - f***ing horrendous theses days.
The Megabus would take you forever, and the National Express a little less.

Driving is much easier now. M11 bypass done and no more roundabouts on the a1
