Almiron wanting out?

Personally think he's too lightweight for european football. He's got a bit talent, but hasn't really shown any of it since joining the mags. He did look a good player in the MLS, which is a very uneven league in terms of ability.

I like Miggy me. His work rate is tremendous, he tackles well, doesn’t shy away, and he turns teams around. His finishing is poor as can be his decision making but ultimately that’s why he’s at Newcastle and not a bigger club. He’s comfortably one of our top 5 players I would say. Albeit we are f***ing shite.

he was signed to create and score goals and he does neither

Midtable championship player someone on this thread said :D :D :D ,if he was playing in the championship he would be the best player in the league by a country mile, he is at his level with Newcastle, a decent enough premier league player but nothing special, Newcastle are a better team when he plays and he would improve any lower mid table premier league team.
He's f***ing shite

At times he looked incredibly raw, sometimes even looked like someone who won a competition to play in a game.

Got a funny feeling he'll go elsewhere and be highly rated, leaving us all scratching our heads. Or he might be another Gavilan, who knows.

He'll be priced out of the MLS. He's in contract until Summer 2024 and I dare say the best money he'll ever earn. Can't see the mags wanting to loan him out either.
Bought new beds for all his twelve brother, sisters, mam and dad. Still in the same two bedroom flat mind.

9 goals and 6 assists in 62 games. Could be better.
But that's not bad for an average midfielder being involved in a goal once every four games in a team that hardly has the ball and doesn't attack much
Not played as a midfielder though is he. He's either been in a 3 man attack or the main creator in a 10 role. Its not like he's been told to sit in front of back 4 and play anchor role.

take the goals out that he got against lower league opposition in the cups. His record is awful

We don't play with a three man attack man haha
He has been used as a striker in some games, he's played as a 10 in some and he has been used in central midfield in others.

Our last 3 PL games where we've played 5 3 2, Almiron has been on the left of the 3 central midfielders.
Towards the back end of 19/20 he was the left sided central midfielder in a 3-5-2.
He sometimes plays on the left of the three in a 4 2 3 1 as well.
He's very much a midfielder, especially the way Bruce uses him.

You hame ASM, almiron and Wilson. 3 Attackers! The fact they don't get up field is their business.

53 PL games, 4 goals 3 assists.
Pretty much what you'd expect from an average midfielder/winger in an average team

Wilson is a centre forward and is only used as such. No relevance to this.
Almiron is used anywhere in midfield.

That doesn’t suit the Orc agenda against Bruce

If you check the stats, Watmore has played 30 odd prem games, less than Almiron but has pretty much the same goals and assists as him.

They can use the excuse about him running about a lot and causing problems but the money they paid for him, so far has been terrible business. But, yu kna, Rafa signed him.

Our play was transformed under Rafa when we signed him. Suddenly, we were an exciting attacking threat. Unfortunately, we then got rid of our 2 best strikers. Wilson certainly not as effective as Rondon.
