It was, I guess they were going for even more depth on this version. Same with the match condition change from a percentage figure to the little heart emoji thing. They are trying to put you more in control and making it more realistic I guess.

I always thought it was ridiculous to have numbers tbh. Yes, he's 18 at passing and 87% fit. Whatever that even means

Yeah the percentage figure made it clearer on whether you could play him in the match or not, whereas now its more of a judgement call which is the realism they were going for I guess. Obviously if the player has a broken leg you cant play him but when they are recovering from an injury then its on you if you play him and he subsequently gets injured again. I think I read somewhere that they are making you as the manager make your own decisions rather than rely on numbers etc.
 
Anyone else having a ridiculous spell after a fairly successful one of just losing every game and the team not even remotely playing as instructed?

Seems to me you have to completely change your tactic every 7 games or so, hope it's not just like this throughout.

Havent got that far yet and Im going to start again tonight. I just wanted to have a go at the game and see the new features etc. Ill start again and see how it goes.

Same, I scheduled about 8 friendlies as I usually do to get my squad fit, playing arsenal and man united at home and making over 100k in each one.
 
Tried to be slightly realistic, only signed Andre Green on a free who can cover either wing. My starting xi is usually:

Burge
Sanderson Willis Wright Hume
Dobson
Power/Embleton Scowen
Green Wyke O'Brien​

Usually hate playing with a target man but Wyke has been alright tbh. AOB has 5 in 5 from LW. Very solid at the back too
 
How does the salary cap work out lads? Is there a simple screen that says I’m under/over it? Thanks

also, signed Dembele on loan from Celtic reserves, it goes through but won’t start until June 2021🙈 sick as fuck 😂

think it’s on the Squad registration screen it tells you if you are over etc think it’s capped at £48,000. I did the same with Dembele as well got him in the Championship and his stats are good tbf

Won the league by about ten points and the Papa John’s trophy beating Charlton in the final. Brought in Eamon Brophy, Kyle Magennis, James Talbot, Zach Medley, Ebou Adam’s and re signed Sanderson on loan.

Got taken over by a local businessman who has no money it looks like. Got given 3m for the Championship so expecting it to be a struggle.

Also just got the Northern Ireland job but yet to play a game

Far more realistic really, pretty sure Parky doesn't get told that Wyke is 94% fit on a match day.

Couple of questions if anyone can please help?

1. I collect the FM21 box/disc every year for last 22 years, I have never got the beta demo before game. So I am wondering, can I get the demo and the game still get posted to me?

2. Where can I get the logo packs and are their tutorials on how to install them? Played the last few years without logo packs and very jealous of the youtubers I see with logo packs playing FM21 haha

This is confusing me as well.

When i put the player list in order of Scout Recommendation I've got someone rated 68 above someone who is 83 but when you click on him it says he's rated 95?
I could understand it if one player had 100% scout knowledge and the other was lower but both of them are at 72% knowledge so i haven't got a clue what's going on?
 
I've had a nightmare with this...

I bought it earlier today, got it downloaded on steam and now it won't load up on my macbook because my operating system is too old! I've looked online and it looks like i can't download the one thats required to play it on this bloody thing!

It looks like a new laptop is in order,has anyone get any recommendations for one? I don't want to spend much if possible as it will literally just be used to play FM and nothing else?

And does anyone want to buy an old Macbook Pro?!!
 
I have ordered FM 21 from Game, paid £49.99. Supposed to get a code to then get beta demo, but received nowt apart from confirming order. f***ing nightmare haha
