He had a big backstory about how he posted on here years ago as “Paddymackem”. His security of being a real Sunderland fan.

Do a search for that name. It was simply someone had called him it and then months later he pretended it was an old username. If he was lying about that, then others saw that he was lying about being legit. He never returned

Dear God.

I honestly hope he never comes back.
I used to get pissed off at the WUMs, but the thing is they all come on here and think what they're doing is new and hilarious.
But the fact is we've seen their type on here over and over again, year after year - for a couple of decades.
It's just a bit pathetic now.

There are pre-emption clauses in Madrox's articles meaning Sartori and Methven have to be given the opportunity to buy Donald's shares on the same terms as the potential buyer, but that's really it. In reality, there's nothing they can really do of Donald wants to sell his shares, short of buying them instead.
So would donald need to sell all of his stake for the new people to have full control (say) ?

Depending on the shareholders agreement, provided someone owns over 50%, they'll not have too much issue with minority shareholders in terms of day to day decisions.

Some things require more than a certain % of the company to do, usually a 'Special Resolution' for changing the rules by which decisions are made. If you own over 75% that's usually fine.

Finally, some things require what is known as a 'special majority' - for example, they may say that to sell the club, regardless of %, they may require 75% of the votes AND at least one of the minority shareholders to agree.

So the best way of handling this now is to ensure the articles of association and shareholders agreement are heavily weighted towards the new owner so that Donald can keep his shares, but never have any leverage to block or force anything in future.
thats answered my question cheers. Is there any way new people could make metheven sartori sell their shares in the future?

£50mill bail out of Leagues 1 and 2 agreed. Is this good or bad news for any proposed sale? Gives some certainty over finances for the year so that's good the bad that it could give Stewy enough money to not be forced to sell.

be good surely won’t it? Like you say it gives them more assurances over finances so they’ll know better how much will be needed to put in. Can’t see it touching the sides mind with us.

Some of the WUM think they can pull any old shit ... the really desperate ones setup sock puppets accounts to endorse and even eulogize about the main account. What kind of desperate window lickers goes to such lengths??

Fuck knows mate.
Life's too short to pretend to be somebody else online to wind people up.
And the thing is - they always out themselves eventually.
It's a bit bizarre if you ask me.

Aye...
Its pretty desperate, in some cases you could wonder why are they going to extreme lengths to push out whatever agenda they're playing out, and build a fake receptive audience.

100% good.

Potentially something that new owners were waiting to be signed off before completing any takeover.

Hopefully !
"The EFL believes that today represents a significant step forward and is hopeful that a final agreement on the short term rescue package across all three divisions can be reached imminently which will provide much needed support, clarity and certainty for all EFL clubs at a time when they need it most."

Only if they already owned more than 90% of the shares in Madrox.
