Agree on this tbh, that is why the "colour" word has been removed. We are all of colour, some white, some black .......
Agree but see above

Good mate of mines nickname is chalky too.You hear presenter's on BBC breakfast using the term people of colour and they are still sat in their seats. And on Sky sports news too. They have wanted this bloke out for years.
Loads of terms used when I was a kid would not be acceptable now but fuck it. One of my mates from school was a black lad and his nick name was chalkie. Still is too he is in his 50 now. He was one of the lads. No issues at all
Worked on a job with a lad last night from the Midlands ,he was black and introduced his name a chalkyYou hear presenter's on BBC breakfast using the term people of colour and they are still sat in their seats. And on Sky sports news too. They have wanted this bloke out for years.

Said being gay was a ālife choiceā, that women donāt like footballs being kicked at them hard, and that Asian people donāt want to play football because theyād rather work in IT.
But aye itās PC gone mad.
They are. Those comments are why he should have resigned.
I agree with this. People of colour is ok and thatās what he meant really and the intention is good the rest is just trends in linguistics. Iām all for tackling racism and homophobia but this seems a bit of an overreaction.Given that the whole context of the clip is that heās clearly speaking out in support of LGBT and rooting out homophobia and other formers of bigotry, I think itās a bit of a stretch to perceive ill intent and want to cancel the bloke for errrr anti-gay bigotry.
They are.
I am reversing my opinion, itās good riddanceSaid being gay was a ālife choiceā, that women donāt like footballs being kicked at them hard, and that Asian people donāt want to play football because theyād rather work in IT.

I used to work with a lad whoās nickname was SootyGood mate of mines nickname is chalky too.
wait till I tell him heās now being labelled as āblended heritageā.![]()
No it wasnāt but are you going to sit here and tell me he deliberately tried to offend people and heās a racist? Who amongst us hasnāt said something that theyāve not meant to or that they later regret?
Now heās out of a job because the usual suspects are up in arms, I suspect many of them will be hypocrites.
Agreed.I am reversing my opinion, itās good riddance
the focus on the black comments in this is baffling

I think we're meant to ignore these so we can pretend this is another example of why racism doesn't exist.Said being gay was a ālife choiceā, that women donāt like footballs being kicked at them hard, and that Asian people donāt want to play football because theyād rather work in IT.

Blended heritage is crazy. How do you find the latest term? I would be sitting there longer than Rumplestiltskin before I could possibly imagine that term.This.
It's hard to keep up.
One week black is OK. Next week it isn't. Then it changes back.
I was speaking to the police about something I'd witnessed, I had to ask them if 'mixed race' was still an acceptable term.
Apparently not, it's now 'blended heritage' but I hadn't seen the memo.
It's probably changed again since.
