Had a few Astras as hire cars, really liked them. I don't know if the newer models have them, but the 18 plates used to have a sport button which was mental.
Aye our lass's Corsa has a sport button, the lad in the showroom reckoned it improved the throttle response but really the only difference I can tell is it stiffens the steering.

where you getting that offer from mate ?
What car leasing comparison website then juts ring then direct has the garage on none of the dealerships can get near the prices in there I been in most of the locals ones they over hundred quid a month cheaper
£160 p/month x 24 = £3,840. What brand new car are you getting for £3,840 that will be paid in full in 2 years?

Seems like a good price for a reliable car to get about in. I looked at similar, Lings have good offers on the cheap stuff with no upfront costs.

Don’t be fooled by the Premium name though. It’s a Corsa. The steering wheel won’t be in the middle, the pedals will be fitted by a blind man and you’ll have a bad back in 20 minutes from the wooden seats.

Bet your Hyundai is absolutely lifting of dog. Drool all owa the back windows and dog hair everywhere. Based on my stereotype of Santa Fe drivers.
It’s a lease car give it back after 2 yrs or get a new one
No one is saying new
It was put that he's paying lumps for something he never owns .You can get reliable cars for relatively small amounts if he genuinely wants a " run about " .
My mates 10 years in on a second hand civic that cost peanuts and gets 60mpg Still.
Prob spent about 300- 400 quid every mot why would I want an old car when I can have a brand new one every 2 yrs

You could definitely tell the difference with the Astras I had, thinking back, I think they were 66 and 17 plates.

enjoy it.
sounds like you like spending money on cars to runaround in .Your old one should have went long ago if its that much every MOT . Paying for brand new cars that are never yours is very fashionable at the moment but make no mistake its the expensive way to run a car ,only pipped buy buying a new car outright .

Mate it’s proven leasing a car is cheaper than buying one, by the time you have paid for your car add depreciation etc MOT, services, you will also prob want a new one by that time, you have lost a similar amount to what you would of paid for a lease car you can’t tell me in 2 yrs your car that you bought plus mot and services combined hasn’t cost you 3 grand if you combine depreciation and costs to keep it on the road

Fiestas and Hyundai’s are ugly as fuck tho like tin boxes

What's so special about the corsa then? As they all look pretty similar really. As do a lot of cars these days, there's very little individualality in design of most road cars now.

The corsa & i20 just look like they've been lifted from the same template

If you get a new car every 2 or 3 years, leasing can be an effective way of doing it. However buying a nearly new 2nd hand car is cheaper, as is buying brand new & keeping it for 10 years

It’s over 70 quid a month more expensive and it’s the shit spec model

Each to their own mate, but onto my third now and never had any major bother with the other two - the vectra CDTI SRI I've just sold was a great car for me.
To be fair., my Dad had a couple of Astras back in the day (including a rust orange Mk.I that I learned to drive in) and they were excellent.
In recent years the wife had a Zafira that cost me f***ing thousands even though we looked after it as per the warranty guidelines etc. My Dad and my Uncle both had Insignias that were never out of the garage and my Mum had a Corsa that was a absolute heap of shit

If its more expensive then fair enough. Does surprise me as thought hyundais as I thought Hyundai’s were meant to be cheap.

Possibly just cheaper buying as they offer canny discounts when taking their finance options. And is imagine they won't hold their value as much

don’t want the same shit car for 10 yrs 😂 it’s also a lottery buying a used car
Nee body’s gonna be happy are they until I get a 7 yr old 3 series bmw with 90 thousand miles on

But, I thought this was just meant to be a cheap run around 2nd car to get you to work & back.

Old 2nd hand cars are a lottery but an a 2 year old one should be fine.

You mentioned a run around ,away from your world of nice nearly new expensive cars or mint lease options ,getting expensive servicing and yes losing ££ by the day there's millions of motorists driving reliable cars that didnt cost a lot and dont cost a lot to run or get through an mot . They are "runarounds"

mines a company car but it was bought at a year old at half list price and is now 4 years old and has had 2 sets of brake pads and a couple of services and still looks and feels like a new car .
The missus has a 63 plate ,ex company car of my employer ,same again, cheap to buy and never misses a beat .Both those examples could be sold today at decent market value

The seats in the corsas are dreadful if you have any kind of back problem
I’m only driving to nissan and back 😂

He could buy a 3 year old Hyundai and it will still have 2 years remaining on the warranty.
