That was my point. I actually don't recall Reid rejecting it, but seems we were rejecting a two legged playoff to get in the qualifying rounds of the UEFA cup which seems a bit nuts. Hopefully someone with a better memory than me can place some context?

). Maybe by 2006 English clubs entered in round 3 and Reid was rejecting entry in round 1 which meant 6 games (or more importantly drunken European mini-breaks).

All seems to have gone quieter on the takeover front. I said they would eventually move to the acceptance phase of grief and perhaps it’s happening. Well until they are confronted with Hendrick and Fraser running out instead of coutinho and mbappe and then they might circle back into anger 😂
