Think that Surrey spinner has a chance to get into this England team if he knuckles down, Bess may well become England's main spinner in the future but he's not ready now.

Don't think Virds is ready yet. By all accounts the kick up the arse Stewie gave him last year worked, but he's still a poor fielder, and struggles to contain. A bit like a raw Moeen - capable of absolutely ripping through sides and bowling brilliant spells getting wickets, was integral to us wining the Title in 2018, but needs his game to mature a little first.

His time will come though, he's class. And the cupboard is pretty bare

Fully expect leach to play in Asia but as a 2nd spinner, they had every chance to pick him in this series and didnt.
Gonna be harsh, but don't think Root really understands/ Captains his fast bowlers or spinners very well. Both in terms of field placing and bowling role.
Jimmy, broady, stokesey and woakesy all seem to set their own field etc...
