He has like

need to wait till he has a body of work behind him

people on about him being our top ever run scorer man

He's being talked up because he's 22, averaging 40 in his short test career, and looks a million dollars in how he scores his runs. He's someone worth getting excited about.

Need Crawley to make a ton now, lot of pressure on a young/inexperienced lad.

I know we’ve lost wickets, but genuinely I’d encourage Buttler to play his natural game here.

Wafting off to slip after scoring 12?

There've been 42 overs bowled in the Test Match, leg spin has accounted for 13 of them. On Day 1, in England. I’d like to see us be positive against Shah, force the captain to have to use up his three seamers, who’ll soon tire.

Crawley has been good so far, Buttler can do the same job with the odd big hit to give them a choice to have to make.
