Ask storey, but you wouldn't be alloeed anywhere near superbikes with £581. It will cost more than that to out his his logos on the bikes
There was talk Donald had no money when he came in and he managed to show the EFL he had £50m "down the back of the sofa". Then he pulled £20m out of the club.

Where this money comes from is important, and it's not coming from his multi million pound drinks company if they've got £500 in the bank.

f***ing hell, imagine being so easily swayed, that one interview with Nick Barnes (during which he didn't actually say anything substantial) is enough to make you ignore the fact that he is a fantasist, a laughing stock, a businessman without any product or any cash, with less in the bank than most of this board, who has been repeatedly sacked from positions he has found himself in, who has been criticised as a liar in court, who has promised and failed to deliver in other sports.

Honestly, how are people so stupid? When did people lose the ability of critical thinking?

Where does his superbike teams and Haas doing due diligence on the sponsorship deal fit in with your argument?

Im interested to hear your critical thinking on those 2 points.

They had £581 in the bank at the time of the last accounts. It's a matter of public record.

How many nights at the Roker Hotel is that ? minus the VAT of course

Absolutely everything about him suggests that he's an even bigger chancer than Donald yet some on here are lapping up the shite he's coming out with. Nothing short of staggering really.

People are being taken in as they are desparate for things to change.

If things are bad now, then god knows what they’ll be like under him.

He’s clearly bad news.

Like I said he won't have only £500 in the bank, or he wouldn't even be allowed to be a sponsor. I haven't got a clue about the bloke apart from he comes across as a nutter. If he did buy us it sounds like most of the money is coming from elsewhere

This narrative is the one I don't understand.

People are suggesting that he's a fantasist who has no money which is fine. But if he buys the club then he's proven he does have money and the narrative about him is false.

So after that, it's all unknown. I don't see how anyone can claim he's lying about his finances or doing it just for publicity if he actually became owner.

This. If he does takeover then these four backers are providing the cash and have 85% so he becomes less of a risk surely?

1. Rich Energy's bank balance is £581. (No figures missed off).
2. Rich Energy haven't filed any accounts - even though they are overdue - since 2018.
3. It is impossible to purchase Rich Energy in any shop that I have ever been in.
4. An F1 team went into administration when he was claiming to be interested in buying them because they knew he wasn't credible. See below
5. When he went to court for stealing the logo of Whyte Bikes, the judge found that he was dishonest- her comments are worth repeating as he seems to have pulled the same stunt on our fans here:
"I found both Mr Storey and Mr Kelly [Storey's friend and logo designer] to be poor witnesses. Mr Storey provided different and inconsistent accounts of the development of [the Rich Energy logo], which also conflicted to a large extent with the evidence of Mr Kelly. He often did not answer questions directly, preferring to make speeches about his vision for his business or alternatively seeking to evade questions by speaking in generalities or in the third person plural. He only answered several questions when I intervened. He had a tendency to make impressive statements, which on further investigation or consideration were not quite what they seemed." Have you never fabricated the truth to get out of trouble? If not then you're obviously not married.
6. He claimed in court that he had sold 90 million cans of his drink. He changed that to three million.
7. He sponsored an F1 team then fell out with the owners of the team, and the other shareholders in his own company. He claims that he was undermined by other directors of the company
Whilst i agree with most of what you've listed, the bold part is not quite correct.

They were in administration when he made the offer and the administrators felt that there were better options than 2 x 15 million payments.

Agree he seems like a chancer but lets be honest, we have no idea if he has the backers and if he actually does that will be disclosed. Doesn't help anyone posting half truths.

Also some reasons behind why there’s been no activity by the rich energy company too. He’s not got his facts right 100% but there’s a lot of smoke.

This looks and sounds like a stunt to put pressure on respective buyers.

Was really worried when it emerged that he was in Sunderland yesterday but it has to be either this or him trying to drum up support for his bad after FPP knocked him back. His bid surely isn't the offer in exclusivity bearing in mind that there's an NDA in place and he can't/won't keep his trap shut.

Yeah, but apart from that

It’s almost like people aren’t who they say they are, ask Wigan or Bury fans.

I have zero faith either Donald or the EFL would determine some ones suitable or not.

The evidence provided in this thread is more than enough for concern.

You’ve chose to ignore the whole part about a judge saying how dishonest he is. If you can’t see the bloke is a complete fantasist then there’s no helping you.
