This is actually more believable than thinking he has the money or the backers he claims.Sounds like a mag fan wanting to run us into the ground.
1. Rich Energy's bank balance is £581. (No figures missed off).
2. Rich Energy haven't filed any accounts - even though they are overdue - since 2018.
3. It is impossible to purchase Rich Energy in any shop that I have ever been in.
4. An F1 team went into administration when he was claiming to be interested in buying them because they knew he wasn't credible.
5. When he went to court for stealing the logo of Whyte Bikes, the judge found that he was dishonest- her comments are worth repeating as he seems to have pulled the same stunt on our fans here:
"I found both Mr Storey and Mr Kelly [Storey's friend and logo designer] to be poor witnesses. Mr Storey provided different and inconsistent accounts of the development of [the Rich Energy logo], which also conflicted to a large extent with the evidence of Mr Kelly. He often did not answer questions directly, preferring to make speeches about his vision for his business or alternatively seeking to evade questions by speaking in generalities or in the third person plural. He only answered several questions when I intervened. He had a tendency to make impressive statements, which on further investigation or consideration were not quite what they seemed."
6. He claimed in court that he had sold 90 million cans of his drink. He changed that to three million.
7. He sponsored an F1 team then fell out with the owners of the team, and the other shareholders in his own company.
Blarn. And your negative speculation is based on what?
Wish lads like u would post solid FACTS about him instead of oooh he's a fantasist, publicity seeker, chancer... fhs man
Settle down mate. Did you read my entire post? You’ve chose to ignore the whole part about a judge saying how dishonest he is. If you can’t see the bloke is a complete fantasist then there’s no helping you.
It’s almost like people aren’t who they say they are, ask Wigan or Bury fans.
I have zero faith either Donald or the EFL would determine some ones suitable or not.
The evidence provided in this thread is more than enough for concern.
I didn’t and still can’t see any red text, so there’s no helping either of us.Settle down mate. Did you read my entire post?
I actually said that i agree with the majority of what was written however, if you're going to tell a story at least give all the "facts" from both sides.
Just for the record, i didn't ignore what the judge said. Can you not see the red text after that point. If not then i guess theres no helping you either.
Read what i quoted marraI didn’t and still can’t see any red text, so there’s no helping either of us.
Ah yes I see now. But I’m still angry, about, erm, takeover n stuffRead what i quoted marra
Well aside from Drumaville, so yeah 2/3 of them. The beauty of it is you can just use it with any owner since Murray. So versatile.

It’s rare in stores but has been seen on the odd occasion. It’s more common (albeit still rare) in clubs and at events, it’s aimed at the luxury market supposedly. An energy drink that has yet to be seen in a shelf anywhere in the world.
Publicity stunt man?
Fake?
Fraud?
Pyramid scheme?
Debt finance?

Hardly spoilt for choice in Sunderland Central like.I don’t care where he stays but of all the hotels he stays in Charlie’s fav one![]()
Wigan and Bury were both in very different situations.
One thing you can rely on Donald for is getting his money back. Therefore, Storey can't front a consortium and take over the club without paying up to Donald.
Pre-COVID I would probably have agreed re Donald but at this point I wouldn't be surprised if he had privately accepted that he's not getting his money back so is just looking for a quick sale. Certainly wouldn't put it past him to actively sell to the least qualified buyer he could find out of spite towards the fans either.
