Went to be the big boy and win a champions league. I respect it massively, but it’s slightly delusional, now he has been overtaken by Mbappe as the main man it doesn’t really matter if he does or doesn’t as he’s just seen as being in the wilderness

You say that, but who knows the whole mood of brazil changed, Germany's mood lifted, it's easy to say 7 2 but in reality it will have been a totally different game

I dint respect it at all, going to a shite league for more money, when playing in the best team already, but you're not quite the main man, again not for me
 
He’s underneath yer Cruyffs, Bests, Platinis, Zidanes, Van Bastens etc in the all time pecking order and way way way below the level of Pele, Maradona, Halom, Messi and Ronaldo X2.
He’s Berkampf, Gullet, Haghi, Di Baggio, Henry level at best and Brazil have given us dozens at that level. 50 yrs ago he may not have even made their WC squad.....Pele, Tostao, Jairzinho, Rivaldo........hmmmmm.....I think he might have been watching it from home let’s be honest.
Opted for the easy life in French football when history shows the best French players want to get out of French football.

I agree, but if he had stayed at Barca, he may well have been in the top tier of your pecking order mate, I think he would have continued to score 25 plus a season at barca, he may have still been in messi shadow, but he would have got all the accolades after when he had retired, he obviously regrets it
 
Similar to Pogba , good player no doubt but massively overhyped by the media and will never go down as a true great of the game.

Me and my wife have both encountered him, he's a selfish egotistical prick who is not a team player, football is a team sport.
