He doesn't know no one does the article is no different to all the other articles saying it's going through or imminent and by that I mean it's, all guesswork
Completely agree and that comic the Chronicle are one of the worst.
If I had to guess and I'm only going on what Masters said a couple of weeks ago that a decision would be made shortly....I think they have made their decision.... nobody knows what it is....but they are waiting for the end of the season to announce it.

Surely commercial revenue corresponds to success on the pitch. It's no surprise it's fell after you have stopped buying players on tick
There's a definite correlation. However, the current owner chose to use sponsorship and merchandising to the benefit of his retail company, rather than funnel it back into the club. Not saying that having Sadie the Bra Lady adverts in St James' would have allowed us to come close to our more successful counterparts, but at least the club would have seen some money for it.

You not think he's put enough money in?

At same time you paid no interest on 100m of debt

I'd say interest on the debt would have accounted more than the money lost by corporate hospitality

From an outsider looking in it is ridiculous that it's been over 15 weeks and still no decision. What exactly is the hold up, either the premier League block it or let it through
I think this is one issue most would agree on, you can argue it should go through and you can argue it shouldn't but they have all the information so a decision either way should have been made.

My suspicion is they have no legal grounds to block it on and they pass the test as it stands, however because of (insert your reason) they don''t want it to go through so they are doing nothing, sticking their heads in the sand and hoping it will go away.

If I was Richard Masters and they ask him to come to the embassy to discuss it I wouldn't be accepting the offer though, thy must be getting right pissed off.

And meanwhile..the club are in limbo

Hold on Lads. It seems this changes things. How can Mr Masters refuse this.

#fuckmewhydidnttheyalldothis
Makes you wonder why that Saudi Prince lopped off bits of that journalist when a quick chat with “Rex N” could’ve sorted it right out

I don't want more money from him, I want to open commercial revenue streams to other parties.

Is it a binary thing?

Also, depends what rate he'd charge. charged £2.9m interest on their combined £45m loans to West Ham in January. So what's that, c6%? Could he have attracted £6m a year in additional commercial revenue for Newcastle United? Newcastle stadium sponsorship could be worth £3.9m a year. Could he have made £2.1m+ a year from other commercial revenue streams? Well, we're all told he's an exceptional businessman...

I am sure you will find this comparison between Newcastle and Spurs interesting - .

Ah so he wasn't to pay debt at same time. You don't half only select what makes your argument 😂

If he paid interest of 6m and brought debt down 10m a season that's 160m over ten seasons.

I severely doubt nufc would have made much more than that using different companies to Sports direct.

IT totally neutralises any point regarding hospitality income

Yeah read that before. Have to consider Spurs' location and on field success. But even with all that considered, our stagnation in this area is shocking. Ironically it could be attractive to new owners (whoever they are). They've almost carte blanche.
