Then they forfeit the games. Those wanting to play should have been allowed.
So, what weren't Bury allowed more time? They said they continue fulfil fixtures due to finances and were fucked off.
Bolton wer loo field a team of bairns for a month, completely skewing the season.
The entire thing is an embarrassment and it doesn't deserve to be called a league as that would suggest it's a credible competition, which is not.
Except all the teams in the league would have played out the season if not for covid 19. Its not their fault that it caused the issues we are seeing. Its elitism to just say theyre poor so they should have a say. Wycome are a team that have never even got to championship level. Of course they arent going to have the fiances as much as us to carry on. If the season played out they may have still qualified for the play offs, they arent going to vote to shoot themselves in the foot for something out of their control. I do get it and understand the anger and frustration and i dont think its a fair way to end the season. But i generally dont think any method of trying to finish the season 2 month later would be fair. Its shitty circumstances brought about by a shitty virus from a shitty wet market that the origins of which never learn from

Like Swindon aren't obsessed, they're just happy to get out of the pig sty. What is I to 1963 when Swindon last beat oxford

Deluded as always.....check the dates, , back to back wins and of course the last Micky mouse cup game.
I guess you only count those selected wins.

Anyway tonight is all about your M40 Derby.

They did carry-on for fuck's sake. They cited health reasons (presumably covid doesn't spread in two-legged ties or in that particular part of North West London?) as well as finance, so, how many games was the cut-off? 4? 5?
Can they afford to kick off a season in The Championship behind closed doors?

With this salary cap coming in and us still having players on relatively huge wages, what’s stopping the EFL putting embargoes and the likes on us and effectively killing us ?
Oh you are asking if I'll be pleased if Sunderland goes bust?
I'm struggling to see the connection tbh.

What's whether we would have cocked up or not got to do with what should happen to the season?
It doesnt, but the main reason fans arent happy is that it didnt favour us. Ultimately the season is done and we prepare to go forward. I dont think the league ever would have got the votes needed to continue the season

Given the EFL’s salary cap proposal, failure to get promotion could be the death knoll for the club. We weren’t given a chance to get out of the league.
