Except there is more money in the championship to make it viable. We are literally in a no mark league that there is very little interest in. Plus it's linked to PL by who gets promoted etc

That's not what I was replying to though. You said it would be carrying on til August but the Championship are managing with the timescale.

They were in free fall, I don’t even think they’d have made the play offs had the season been completed. It’s a disgrace IMO.

Having said that I hope Stewy is crying into his Oxford shirt tonight the knob.
The game in hand that got them into the playoffs, via a 'points per game' assumption, was Coventry away. Wycombe hadn't won and away game in 2020 and lost 4-0 at home to Coventry this season.

Why the fck are they asking Akinfenwa about the incident last week?

Because of the cost it would entail to smaller clubs. The same reason every other league in Britain has been curtailed. If it was just our league then fair enough. But it's the two richest leagues which can more afford the outlay of the extended season

Don't really think team spirit was an issue under Parkinson. His favoured eleven were always up for it. The bigger issues are lack of quality and lack of a cohesive style across the squad.

There's no way this team of Wycombe plodders has any more quality than we do. Ainsworth has got them fully drilled and they play to their strengths. They've had an incredible season, even if they've got up in weird circumstances.

Ridiculous, handled it perfectly. Let him enjoy the moment man!

Exactly. Like he said. Is it really the time. It was good to see someone so excited and caring so much about winning. The reporter for some reason thought it would be a good idea to ruin the mood.

How’s it brilliant that a team in 8th go up, totally against the spirit of the game.

Morse left to solve how they lost to an almighty hoof upfield:)

Meanwhile Timmy Mallet has fallen off his bike.
Methven has run out of crayons for his flip chart and Donald is planning a trip to B&Q to buy the most expensive tin of creosote.

Absolutely marvellous entertainment........The Ox is dead long live the water buffalo

The Oxford game against Swindon will be sold out by the weekend such is their obsession about us. Deluded fuckers...... watching the local news tonight for sure.
Like Swindon aren't obsessed, they're just happy to get out of the pig sty. What is I to 1963 when Swindon last beat oxford

Then they forfeit the games. Those wanting to play should have been allowed.
So, what weren't Bury allowed more time? They said they continue fulfil fixtures due to finances and were fucked off.
Bolton wer loo field a team of bairns for a month, completely skewing the season.
The entire thing is an embarrassment and it doesn't deserve to be called a league as that would suggest it's a credible competition, which is not.
