Let people make their own choices on what they put in their bodies. Respect their decision. Nothing more to say than that.

Children don't get to make their own decisions though, they're reliant on their parents making the right call, and when parents don't make the right call - the state intervenes.

Vaccinations are safe - fact. Vaccinations prevent disease - fact. Vaccinations improve the health of the population - fact.

There is no reason for a child not to be vaccinated unless the child's GP or consultant believes the vaccination would harm that child as an individual, e.g. immunocompromised children, children with allergies etc.

Parents who do not vaccinate their children are exposing their children - and other people's children - to unnecessary risk and preventable harm. Vaccinations should be mandatory and parents who do not vaccinate their children should be prosecuted.

If you believes vaccinations aren't safe, that they don't prevent disease or they don't improve the health of the population then you are, quite simply, wrong.

Vaccinations seems more trouble than they're worth if they keep fascists like you alive beyond childhood

If there is no burden of social responsibility in healthcare decisions, I take it you don't agree the government should impose lockdown on it's citizens? The argument for is largely the same, the action prevents risk to to themselves and others, their choice too?

All i know is that when i was a child, children died from smallpox, scarlet fever, measles, polio, lockjaw (tetanus) whooping cough to name but a few. vaccines have in the main changed all that, parents rarely bury their children these days

what about the pregnant women who gave birth to thalidomide children?

that wasnt a vaccine, it was an anti morning sickness drug, but dont forget the damage german measles did to unborn babies before a vaccine

totally agree , guess I’m replying to a post that says they are all safe . Nithing has ever been tested on a scale of 7 billion people , it’s bound to have adverse effects on some

My Dad had measles as a child. He knew he was seriously ill as his mother lit the fire in his bedroom.

The fact you have to go back to the late 1950s/early 1960s to find an example should tell you something.

Thalidomide isn't an unsafe drug - it's simply contra-indicated in pregnancy. Unfortunately, the evidence on the safety of thalidomide wasn't conclusive and several drug agencies in Europe gave it the all-clear to treat morning sickness.

In the US however, the FDA refused to clear it, they weren't convinced of the safety and tragedy was avoided on that side of the Atlantic.

Yes - thalidomide was a failure and yes despite the best efforts of drug agencies harm did come to patients, but the safety and effectiveness of vaccines has been studied and proven time and time and time again. The contrast with thalidomide was the evidence was not conclusive on safety and drug agencies jumped the gun. T

he fact the US FDA declined to approve on safety grounds tells you that on the whole, the system works.

There’s nothing fascist about mandatory vaccinations. Any other way to incentivise them (e.g. by preventing kids taking up school places) is either inefficient or harmful to the innocent child.

If you don’t vaccinate your children, they should be placed in care and you should be in prison. Simple as.
You're the most brainwashed poster on here

... “you can’t call me a fascist because I’m right” said every facist ever.

It's a fact that vaccinations are safe, effective and improve the health of the population as a whole. I honestly do not care if you want to call me a fascist.

The fact that you have to call me a fascist when I'm presenting a non-partisan, science-based argument that improves life for literally everyone, is laughable.

That's how poor the anti-vax argument is - you're stuck at calling me a fascist because you have no recourse to any other argument.

I’ve made my argument in a previous response - there is nothing else to add.

My opinion is they should be blocked/banned from social media. Free speech is important but social media has changed the way media reports 'news' exponentially, in unprecedented times such as a pandemic action should be taken.

You didn't make an argument, you just said "let people make their own choices" and when countered, you fell to bits.

People like you need to be as far away from the levers of power as possible, because you are so shockingly ill-informed, it beggars belief.

there has never been a successful coronavirus vaccine been made so what makes you so sure it will work and it will be safe when it hasnt even been released/widely tested yet. the sars-cov2 vaccine is being rushed through and its still not public if they are going to gamble on a mRNA vaccine

There's some really sinister authoritarian views around recently. I'm generally pro vaccination and I'm happy to take any vaccination thats been safely tested and gone through the proper procedures. However why as someone in their 20's would I personally take a rushed through covid vaccine?

I'm more likely to drown than die of covid and as we've seen recently with the hugely damaging side effects of the rushed through swine fly vaccine the risk would seem greater for taking it.
