What has got worse, we've gone from a club making a loss to financial stability. The fans anger seems to be just because we missed out on promotion and a dodgy article from the daily mail.
We are the exact issues and what is the 'something' that has to be done?
We missed out on promotion last season after an absolute balls up of the highest order by the board and recruitment team. Losing THE best player in the division because they thought they were clever and replacing them with someone injured at a higher cost then failing to put right their failure in the following two windows while also selling off any future hope we have by overseeing the delivery of shamefully embarrassing feeder sides and selling our future hope to cope with it.
Financially ? We are a business with a big infrastructure in a low income league surrounded by small compact clubs, having failed to use our higher income to get us into a more sustainable league. We have savaged our outlay to fit our dreadful income which has reduced as a result of failure. That works for the person trying to sell (look at our books, low spend, 'balanced') but not the person buying with a need for high investment to make progress and be worth more.
So taking into account that business wise we have messed up our level/potential level of income which is a bad business decision, here's a question.. what isn't worse ?
