Sloanbee making a fool of himself shocker. Painting a picture of roses. We are Sunderland football club. Massive infrastructure, fan base and a cat 1 academy. No one has this in league one. We have had the benefit of PP over the last 2 year too. Now, with these owners, we are heading into a third season in league one, cat 1 academy is without a manager, next generation getting sold consistently, absolute disgust from the large majority of the hardcore fanbase, season tickets down to the lowest number since the SOL opened, Refunds being stretched out and make complicated as possible due to the financial state of the owners and to be transparent most people are dreading the next campaign.

Sloanbee, don't piss in my pocket and tell me it's f***ing raining.

We started the year with 29 points from a possible 36. If you were to extrapolate that over a full season it gives you 110 points, just to put that run into context. We are a still a good team, needing some slight adjustments, and I do believe we have a good Manager even though many may have their doubts. Bettering this campaign and aiming for the top six will be the objective for this season and we will be very competitive. That means we will be difficult to beat and we will win most weekends.

If you're waking up as a Bury fan, you don't have a club. Who knows when they'll have another club to represent their community, if they ever will again. If you're waking up as a Wigan fan, you're facing the prospect of losing your best players for a fraction of their value and relegation, and who knows what happens then. They'll possibly be in a position similar to Bolton where the best they've got to look forward to is to lose every week, and the worst case scenario is that they don't have a club either.

Sunderland has its issues and the ownership have made mistakes but it's a far cry from the hard realities many clubs have faced, are facing or will face shortly. That does not mean you have to like them but our relatively strong position in a challenging landscape has to be acknowledged.

You aren't even getting paid for this, Tom. It's just utterly pathetic. It's also insulting the club sends their lackeys on here trying to pass themselves off as regular fans to do propaganda.

Get some self respect. You're a disgrace to genuine SAFC supporters.

I just burst out laughing tbh

But what suggests we will? You seem to be implying we are hoping the rest get comparatively weaker compared to ourselves.
Let's not like, the last 4 weeks of the season suggested we were inconsistent at best. Since that time, we have lost our first choice goalkeeper and 2 first choice defenders.
We have also lost a number of squad players. There is no atmosphere around the club as no one is working in the club buildings.
What indicates an improvment over last season? A hope that everyone else is much worse?
Our only hope is that other clubs regress at a faster rate than we do. That’s what you’re reduced to when you have an ownership and club structure as pathologically incompetent as Donald and his cronies.

Fuck off Tom, you’re just a lapdog and another yes man for Donald.

The only thing I disagree with here, is the benefit of PP, as soon as these mugs bought us we lost that benefit

Not even going to get into it, it's pointless with people like you, let's just go with your opinion and say they have done absolutely nothing since they took over!!!

Somehow don't think it's intentional, it doesn't benefit them in anyway
Best not too eh 👌😂👌😂

This is now what it is to be a Sunderland fan, just be grateful you have a club.
Come on lads. That ‘aim for top 6’ quote is trolling fodder. No Sunderland fan would ever state that and mean it about Sunderland AFC in league one.

Seems about right to me, can anyone realistically predict we will be aiming higher?

I don't no what he is expecting to achieve here , fans would have more respect for him if he just sold up .

He really does not get our fan base at all
I don't think it's that easy, it's not like he can put it on ebay.

There's a difference between 'aiming for' and 'capable of' IMO. SAFC should never be aiming for league one play-offs. It's not acceptable

Still a good team? Funny that, as we are actually the worst team in the clubs entire history.

Remind me how many points we took off Bolton last season whilst they were “losing every week” ?

Willing to gamble with the clubs future to ensure he lines his pockets. There's 2 reasons he isn't budging at the moment:

1. His unreasonable asking price isn't being met
2. There's no guarantee he will stay on the board after the sale

Why the fuck would he want to stay after selling the club? Oh, I've got it - to try and make more money.

No one wants you here Stewart, accept you've fucked it up and take the loss.

Any poster defending him on this board should be banned too. Summerbee - jesus christ get some dignity.
