Is anyone in a pub

Whole things f***ing me right off.

Do people just think this shit is going to go away? Absolute selfish arseholes up and down the country who couldn’t give a fuck so long as they have a decent time.

A huge proportion of people went out and behaved sensibly as well btw. I won’t lie, I went out yesterday myself but I wore a mask on all public transport, hand sanitised regularly, met with only one other household, ate at a socially distanced restaurant where there were no menus out etc. I was happy to be out spending a few quid and supporting another independent business for the first time in nearly 4 months - and the staff and chefs I spoke to were genuinely buzzing to have customers again. They thought it was the end for them previously.

As usual however, there’s a few hundred absolute twats ready and willing to selfishly fuck things up for tens of millions. We all have to behave within the current safety guidelines if there’s any chance of a recovery. While I appreciate everyone is affected differently by the pandemic, staying at home while millions more potentially go out of work isn't really an option for many folk anymore.

The local I visited yesterday was very well organised plus had security on. All was well. Had a nice Italian meal last night too. Again very well organised and no bother. Off to try my other local shortly. It feels great to be out and about again.

Saltgrass for 2 hours, absolutely no social distancing.
Kings arms, decent
Wolsey, got asked to leave
Harbour, canny
Roker, refused entry cos not pre booked
And a good night was had by all.
That was basically a normal night out. No restrictions on anything.

Which area is this?
Someone in the corner takes a beating there.

I’m not having a go at people like you marra. I have no doubt the majority of people in this country are doing their best to follow guidance.
Howevrr there is an element of people who simply can’t follow what they’ve been told. A large amount of young people are doing what they like cause they feel like they won’t be impacted. Places like pubs and bars will be ideal spreading areas for this.

Asked to leave and refused entry to two of the five pubs you trailed around!!

Not exactly a normal night out then

I’ll be giving the pub a miss for a while but I can see why others want to go. It’s another step towards normality and an it helps businesses out.
