Is anyone in a pub

I don’t want to be one of these people that go on, like them who criticised the beach goers on a nice day, but I’m not really seeing the point. I’ve been drinking better beer from the supermarket & from online, anybody I want to socialise with can come to my back garden. Having so many rules in place won’t make it an enjoyable experience, then you’ve got other dickheads, who wouldn’t be in my garden.

Don’t get me wrong, I like pubs, but can’t see the appeal in this climate.

1 of 2 things will happen in relation to going to the pub.

People will either complain about the new 'rules' for a bit & just come to terms with the situation, hoping it's only for the short term, or people will complain about the 'rules' and go to the pubs that don't give a fuck & let people do what they want.

^^^^^ This . Though I am booked in the Barbers for 13.00 hrs . More excited about that than thoughts of going to a pub

There’s a big part of me that wants everything to be back to normal and have the economy up and running again, with people who work in the leisure sector being able to start making a few quid again. The other part of me is, “there’s not a f***ing chance I’m going in to a pub at the moment.”
Only one I'd go to is one where you can comfortably be outdoors.

Probs pop to Isis unless theres a massive queue. Just drove past the Barnes couple of people waiting outside dont know if its opening today

I'll stroll past my local late afternoon if it doesn't look stupid I might go in.. only using the garden at presebt which is substantial and they can accommodate upto 160 people.. they have it all marked out fully and stations to bring glasses back to etc.

I'm not overly fussed but some lads I drink with will be there at opening the arseholes

Booked in at 2pm for a couple of hours.

Partly excited to experience a brief semblance of a move towards normality.

And partly excited as I decided to grow a lockdown moustache at the start of all this that I'd only shave off when the pubs opened again. It's really annoying now.

There were people in the William Stead in Darlington at 8.24 this morning

Very precise, how many seconds?

That's a bit harsh, they're doing nothing wrong.

10.00 in the morning is too early to start drinking.

You should still be hungover from the night before.

If not, you are not a proper drinker and just in the pub to take pics of how “mental” you are.

I feel so sorry for the bar staff today and hope it all passes off ok and people behave.

If you were a proper drinker you’d be in the pub having hair of the dog to deal with the hangover.
